Physics Students Worldwide volunteer for International Day of Light

The International Association of Physics Students (IAPS) is going to contribute to the UNESCO International Day of Light, organising new activities and participating with a delegation of volunteers in the IDL Flagship event at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris, France on 16 May 2018. Twenty-five physics students will meet in the French capital and it will be a truly international delegation, gathering students from seventeen different countries following the UNESCO and IAPS shared goals of integration and cooperation.

In June 2014, representatives of the EPS Young Minds sections were invited to present and discuss their activities at the 3rd Young Minds Leadership Meeting. These activities range from colloquia presenting research in physics to visits of local industry to a variety of activities sharing the fascination for physics with the public.

The International Conference of Physics Students [ICPS] is a conference organised by physics students for physics students. This annual conference, started in 1986, is the main event of the International Association of Physics Students [IAPS].
ICPS brings together around 450 young researchers from all over the world for a week of learning and exchange.
