Academia Europaea Annual Conference 2014

The 26th Annual Conference of the Academia Europaea will be held in Barcelona, Spain, on 16 July 2014 under the theme: “Young Europe: realities, dilemmas and opportunities for the new generation”.

The Academia Europaea recently inaugurated a new Knowledge Hub in Barcelona. Operational since January 2013, the Barcelona Knowledge Hub is the Mediterranean and Southern European office of the Academia Europaea (see previous article in e-EPS).

The Barcelona Knowledge Hub will focus on the promotion of activities of interest for the members of the Academia and the scientific community at large, with special emphasis on multidisciplinary activities that include the perspective of the social sciences and the humanities.

The Barcelona Knowledge Hub also celebrates its inaugural event by commemorating the 750th anniversary of the Barcelona Disputatio. The inauguration will take place on 28 November 2013.
