The 2nd International Conference on the History of Physics is organised in Pöllau, Austria, from 5-7 september 2016.

The Steering Committee welcomes you warmly to this second conference in a series that is organised on a worldwide basis. By bringing together historians of science, physicists, science museum staff, lecturers and teachers, as well as others interested in any aspect of the history of physics, it aims to raise the profile of the subject to its rightful place in physics education and research.

Pathway conference

The Pathway conference will be held from 23 to 26 October 2013 in Bad Hofgastein, Austria.

The Pathway conference is the opportunity for science teachers from all over Europe to meet together with their peers and education experts. The European Particle Physics Outreach Group [EPPOG] was established 15 years ago, under the joint auspices of the European Committee for Future Accelerators and the European Physical Society’s High Energy Particle Physics Board. In 2011 it evolved into the International Particle Physics Outreach Group [IPPOG], reflecting the international nature of the group. The 4th International Topical Meeting on Nanophotonics and Metamaterials [NANOMETA 2013] will be held at the Seefeld ski resort in Tirol, Austria, on 3-6 January. An international conference, with the theme of ‘100 Years of Cosmic Particles’, will be held during 1-5 May 2012, split between the two locations of Innsbruck University, in Tyrol, and ECHOPHYSICS, in Poellau, Styria.
