The 4th International Topical Meeting on Nanophotonics and Metamaterials [NANOMETA 2013] will be held at the Seefeld ski resort in Tirol, Austria, on 3-6 January. The event aims to bring together the materials, nanotechnology and photonics research communities to discuss recent developments and results within their fields.

The meeting will be organised into two parallel oral sessions – concerning nanophotonics and metamaterials – with mid-day breaks to allow participants to socialise and participate in recreational activities.

Topics under discussion at the meeting will include: localization of light and optical super-resolution; metamaterials and metadevices; nanophotonic, hybrid and quantum materials; nanophotonics and nanobiophotonics; and plasmonics and plasmo-electronic devices.

Paper submission will open on 1 August this year, and will close on 1 October.

NANOMETA 2013 is being organised by the European Physical Society. For more information, please visit the NANOMETA 2013 website.
