As part of EUCARD2 activities, and co-sponsored by EPS Technology and Innovation Group (TIG), a workshop on the status of new developments in Accelerator-Driven Systems or ADS was held at CERN on February 7-9.
The EPS works to support its members. Find below the list of activities of the EPS Executive Committee and staff last month:
The 2nd International Conference on the History of Physics is organised in Pöllau, Austria, from 5-7 september 2016.
The Steering Committee welcomes you warmly to this second conference in a series that is organised on a worldwide basis. By bringing together historians of science, physicists, science museum staff, lecturers and teachers, as well as others interested in any aspect of the history of physics, it aims to raise the profile of the subject to its rightful place in physics education and research.
The 26th Conference of the Condensed Matter Division [CMD26] is still accepting submission of abstracts for oral and poster presentations. Please click http://cmd26.eu/abstract-submission/ for direct access to the CMD26 abstract submission page.
The 12th European Conference on Atoms Molecules and Photons [ECAMP12] will take place in Frankfurt, Germany, from September 5-9, 2016. The conference venue will be the Horsaalzentrum Campus Westend, Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany.
The 26th Conference of the Condensed Matter Division [CMD26], to be held in Groningen, the Netherlands, from 5-9 September 2016, will encompass all areas of Condensed Matter Physics, from soft matter and biophysics to correlated electron systems and quantum simulators.
The Photon16 conference, organised by the Institute of Physics, will be held at the University of Leeds, 5 – 8 September 2016.
Over four days, Photon16 participants will have the opportunity to visit exhibitions on the latest in optics and photonics technology, attend lectures from experts in the field, and get up to date with cutting-edge research.
