EPS Executive Committee and Staff activities November 2018

1 – 2 November: Rüdiger Voss, EPS president, represented EPS at the IUPAP C&CC Meeting in Vilnius, Lithuania.

19 – 21 November: Rüdiger Voss and David Lee, EPS Secretary general, attended the meeting of the EPS Executive Committee (ExCom), and the joint meeting of the ExCom with the EPS Division and Group Chairs, at the IoP headquarters in London, UK. Luc Bergé, member of the ExCom, presented the update on the EPS Associate Membership Programme. As chair of the EPS Equal Opportunities Committee, he presented some proposals for the follow-up of the committee’s activities.

24 November: Rüdiger Voss and Ophélia Fornari, assistant to the conferences manager, participated in the 18th EPS Young Minds Action Committee Meeting, in Trieste, Italy.

26 – 30 November: Luc Bergé contacted IUPAP Divisions for advertising the 2019 edition of the Vladilen etokhov Medal. He prepared the Award Committee for the 2018 Winter edition of the Emmy Noether Distinction.

29 – 30 November: David Lee attended the Executive Committee meeting of the International Association of Physics Student in Mulhouse, France.
