Executive and Staff Activity for June 2014

The EPS works to support its members. Find below for the list of the activities of EPS Executive Committee and staff for June 2014:

  • 6-7 June: O. Fornari, EPS Young Mind Board member, attended the 3rd EPS Young Minds Leadership Meeting in Paris, France
  • 13 June: C. Rossel, EPS President-elect and D. Lee, EPS Secretary met in Mulhouse, France, with G. Djordjevic and D.L. Nagy of the committee of European Integration to find funding opportunities in H2020 and plan future CEI related workshops
  • 17-18 June: C. Rossel, EPS President-elect and D. Lee, EPS Secretary visited different groups of interest in Brussels, Belgium, regarding EPS Brussels representation
  • 19 June: L. Cifarelli, Chair of the EPS Historic Sites Committee, attended the inauguration ceremony of the Synchrocyclotron (SC) at CERN, Geneva, Switzerland
  • 20-21 June: J. Dudley attended the EPS-Edison Volta Prize Ceremony in Como, Italy
  • 24 June: The EPS Executive Committee met in Mulhouse, France
  • 26 June: J. Dudley attended the IYL2015 planning meeting at UNESCO in Paris, France
  • 30 June-2 July: C. Rossel EPS President-elect participated to the annual meeting of the Swiss Physical Society in Fribourg, Switzerland
