OSLO, NORWAY – Nine pioneering scientists from Germany, Switzerland, the UK and the USA have been named this year’s recipients of the Kavli Prizes – prizes that recognise scientists for their seminal advances in astrophysics, nanoscience and neuroscience.

Kavli Prize – Call for Nominations 2016

The call for nominations for the 2016 Kavli Prizes is open from September 1 through December 1, 2015. The winners of the 2016 Kavli Prizes will be announced June 2, 2016 and the award ceremony will take place in Oslo, Norway on September 6, 2016.
Nominations for the Kavli Prizes should be submitted to The Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters by way of the online nomination form.

The Kavli Prizes are awarded every two years for outstanding achievement in the following three fields: astrophysics; nanoscience; and neuroscience. 2012 Kavli Prizes awarded

The winners of the 2012 Kavli Prizes – which are awarded in the fields of astrophysics, nanoscience and neuroscience – have been announced.
