Joint EPS-SIF International School on Energy 2017
The primary goal of the School will be to present all physics fields with relevance to the technologies of energy production, conversion, transmission and savings, thus addressing today’s most relevant energy issues. The potential of the various technologies will be presented and the need for more research and development to fully unfold them will be indicated. For this purpose, basic lectures and topical seminars will be presented by specialists in their field.

The 3rd edition of the Joint EPS-SIF International School on Energy will be organised together with the 69th Course of the International School of Solid State Physics: “Materials for Energy and Sustainability V” and will take place from 13 – 19 July 2016 in Erice, Italy.

Lecture Notes of the Joint EPS-SIF School on Energy
The first course of the Joint EPS-SIF International School on Energy was successfully held in Varenna, Italy, in the 2012 summer.
The course, centred on “New Strategies for Energy Generation, Conversion and Storage”, gathered a vigorous team of over 15 lecturers who all provided in due time their valuable lecture notes.
