The biennial International EPS Conference on High Energy Physics will be held from Wednesday 5 to Wednesday 12 of July 2017 in Venice, Italy. This major conference will cover new physics results and more on Astroparticle physics and Cosmology, Neutrinos and Dark Matter, Flavour and CP violation, Standard Model and Beyond, Electroweak Symmetry Breaking, Quantum Field and String Theory, QCD and Heavy Ions, Accelerators and Detectors, Outreach, Education, and Diversity.
On 5 April 2016, the BEPCII, upgrade of the Beijing Electron Positron Collider (BEPC), broke the luminosity record again in the charm energy region by 10.0´1032cm-2s-1, and reached its design luminosity at the optimised beam energy of 1.89 GeV as well.
The 3rd International Conference on the Initial Stages in High-Energy Nuclear Collisions [InitialStages2016] will take place from 23 – 27 May 2016 in Alameda Campus, Lisbon, Portugal.
Physicists from all over the world gathered in Vienna in July 2015 for the biennial European Physical Society Conference on High Energy Physics, organized for the first time in the Austrian city of music, and chaired by Prof. Jochen Schieck from the Institute of High Energy Physics of the Austrian Academy of Sciences. About 750 physicists joined from the 22nd to the 29th of July to profit from 425 parallel talks, 194 posters, and 41 plenary talks covering the latest experimental and theoretical work in physics of particle colliders, neutrinos, heavy ions, astroparticles, and cosmology, as well as detector and machine developments. This was completed by a strong physics outreach program, and a rich social program including an exceptional concert.
The European Physical Society Conference on High Energy Physics [EPS-HEP] is one of the major international conferences that reviews the field of high energy physics every second year. The High Energy and Particle Physics Division of the European Physical Society has organised this conference since its beginning in 1971. The latest conferences in this series were held in Stockholm, Grenoble, Krakow, Manchester, Lisbon and Aachen.

Many theories consider sleeping as a boost in human performance. This is exactly what is happening at the LHC at CERN. After almost 2 years of silent signal, sections of the LHC are reactivated one by one with upgraded performance. The wake-up period will last for the next few months until the 13 TeV physics programme can fully begin in 2015.
Even if no data measurements are currently underway in the LHC, many things have happened during the 18-month shutdown that began in 2013. Indeed, major upgrades have been undertaken, in particular regarding the proton synchrotron and the super proton synchrotron. Incredible efforts have been deployed to upgrade…
The 37th International Conference on High Energy Physics [ICHEP 2014] will be held in Valencia, Spain, from the 2-9 July 2014.
ICHEP 2014 is part of a series of international conferences organized by the C11 commission of the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics [IUPAP]. It has been held every even year for more than 50 years and is one of the reference conferences of particle physics where most relevant results are presented…
The 12th International Workshop on Deep-Inelastic Scattering and Related Subjects [DIS 2014] will be held from 28 April to 2 May 2014 in Warsaw, Poland.
The workshop includes a unique mix of communities and covers a large spectrum of topics in high energy physics. The principal aim of the workshop is to review the progress in the field of Deep-Inelastic scattering and Quantum Chromodynamics [QCD]. DIS 2014 will also serve as a forum to discuss the most recent and exciting results from large…
The 19th International School of Cosmic Ray Astrophysics [ISCRA 2014] will take place from 4-11 July 2014 in Erice, Italy. The theme of the school is “Exploring the High Energy Universe”.
The course, which is held biannually, will focus on high-energy processes in our universe made available through present and future experiments from both ground-based and space-based observatories. ISCRA 2014 is designed to provide an overview of the new findings in high-energy astrophysics and how this has affected our understanding of the…
