8 January: John Dudley, EPS President, participated in the IYL2015 Opening Ceremony in France.
19 – 20 January: Opening Ceremony of the 2015 International Year of Light and Light-based Technologies, UNESCO, Paris, France. EPS staff together with EPS Young Minds volunteers prepared the venue of the participants.

Nordic Physics Days in Trondheim, Norway

The Nordic Physics Days is a biannual conference for researchers, teachers and students in physics. This meeting is the fourth in a new series of Nordic Physics Meetings established as a collaboration between the National Physical Societies in the Nordic countries. The venue this year is the Norwegian University of Science and Technology [NTNU], Trondheim, Norway, from 9-12 June 2015. Abtract subbmission opens February 1st.

The European Physical Society Conference on High Energy Physics [EPS-HEP] is one of the major international conferences that reviews the field of high energy physics every second year.
