The 16th EPS Young Minds Action Committee meeting took place at CERN, close to Geneva (Switzerland) on 10th of November 2017.

Surrounded by a fabulous landscape and immersed in the heart of the world of Particle Physics, the meeting started by welcoming two new Action Committee members: Imran Khan and Giorgio Nocerino.

6th EPS Young Minds Leadership Meeting

The University of Naples Federico II (UNINA) hosted the 6th Young Minds Leadership Meeting (12-13 May 2017) and the 15th Young Minds Action Committee Meeting (11 May 2017).
The meeting was organised by the Physics and Optics Naples Young Students (PONYS), the local European Physical Society (EPS) section, and the Young Minds Action Committee, and was supported by EPS, the Physics Department of Naples University Federico II, the Italian Physical Society (SIF), the local section of the National Institute for Nuclear Physics (INFN Napoli), and the Institute of Applied Sciences and Intelligent Systems of the National Research Council (CNR-ISASI).

Editorial – The recipe of communication in science

My name is Araceli, and presently I am doing my PhD at the University of Strathclyde under the supervision of Andrew Daley.

Throughout my childhood the process of learning science relied basically on educators together with books. Nowadays, the access to all kind of videos and online courses is only a stone’s throw away, thanks to new technologies. The means used to teach and communicate science have changed over the years. Nevertheless, the general way to connect with people remains basically unaltered.
