A Joint Meeting on Mathematical Physics and Science Policy is being held in Craiova, Romania, on 19-22 September this year. The event aims to foster connections between theoretical physicists, improve education in south-eastern European countries and to encourage interest in physics and mathematics amongst the young.
The meeting will incorporate the 8th edition of the “Quantum Field Theory and Hamiltonian Systems” workshop and the 4th “Science and Society “meeting. During the former, the title of Doctor Honoris Causa…
Cryocourse 2012 will be held between 9-20 September this year in Heidelberg, Germany, split between the locations of the Schöntal Monastery, for initial theoretic lectures, and the Kirchhoff-Institute for Physics, for the following practical sessions. The course – given in English – will cover the main topics of cryogenics, from the fundamental concepts to industrial applications.
The Cryocourse series are European-based intensive courses in advanced cryophysics and cryogenics…
The second European Nuclear Physics Conference [EuNPC2012] is being held on 17-21 September, 2012, at the Rin Grand Hotel in Bucharest, Romania.
The conference program – covering recent advances in hadron and nuclear physics – will consist of oral and poster sessions in the following fields: accelerators and instrumentation, astroparticle physics, hadron structure and spectroscopy, heavy ion collisions and QCD phases, few body systems, fundamental symmetries…
The 12th Granada Seminar on Computational and Statistical Physics will be held in La Herradura, Spain, on 17-21 September 2012.
