EPS Executive Committee and Staff activities October 2018

1 October: Rüdiger Voss, EPS president, represented the EPS at the inauguration of the Laboratories of Kirchhoff and Bunsen at the University of Heidelberg as an EPS Historic Site.

12 October: Rüdiger Voss participated in the inauguration of the former physics building of the Lorand Eötvös University Budapest as an EPS Historic Site. David Lee, EPS secretary general, and Gina Gunaratnam, communication coordinator, also participated in the event.

13 October: Rüdiger Voss represented the EPS at the annual meeting of the Editorial Board of Europhysics News (EPN) in Budapest. David Lee, Gina Gunaratnam and Xavier de Araujo, EPS graphic designer, attended the meeting.

16 October: David Lee participated in the OSOS consortium meeting in Toulouse, France.

20 October: Rüdiger Voss represented the EPS at the inauguration of the Laboratory of Bergara, Spain, as an EPS Historic Site.

29 October: David Lee met with Kent Rochford, CEO of SPIE in Bellingham WA, USA.
