The board of the Nuclear Physics Division (NPD) of the European Physical Society (EPS) is seeking candidates to host a new EPS-NPD divisional conference in 2020. The conference will have a particular emphasis on Applied Nuclear Physics (ANP), with sections specifically devoted to themes such as energy, health, space, security, environment, material science, preservation and study of cultural heritage. The ANP conference will complement the already existing series of NPD divisional conferences, comprising the European Nuclear Physics Conference (EuNPC) and the Nuclear Physics in Astrophysics (NPA) Conference.

The application material should include the description of the proposed location and venue, of the participating Universities and Laboratories, the projected costs, the expected financial supports, and the foreseen approximate conference fees. The bid should also provide the list of members composing the Local Organising Committee.

The deadline to submit the application material to the Scientific Secretary of the NPD board (R. B. Cakirli rburcu [at] istanbul [dot] edu [dot] tr) is November 30, 2018.

The NPD board will meet to select the ANP conference site in the spring of 2019.
