Since 25 May 2018, Europe has adopted the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which was designed to harmonise data privacy laws across Europe, to protect data privacy for all EU citizens and to reshape the way organisations across the region approach data privacy.

The key articles of the GDPR, as well as information on its business impact, can be found on the official EU website: https://www.eugdpr.org/.

The privacy notice of the European Physical Society can be found here.
