6 to 8 December 2017: Frédéric Burr, EPL staff editor, attended the EPL Board of Directors and Management Committee meetings in Paris, France.
7 December 2017: Rüdiger Voss, EPS president, participated in the EPL Board of Directors meeting in Paris, France.
14 December 2017: Rüdiger Voss participated (part-time) in a meeting of the Executive Committee of the Swiss Physical Society in Bern, Switzerland.
19 December 2017: Frédéric Burr and the new EPL Editor-in-Chief, Bart van Tiggelen, met in Mulhouse , France.
22-23 December 2017: Luc Bergé, EPS Executive Committe member, proposed to the Chairs of the Quantum Electronic and Optics Division and of the Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physics Division to organize a joint prize in memory of Vladilen Letokhov. The proposed prize charter and possible prize committees will be discussed by the members of the two Division boards during their respective general meetings.
