EPS Executive Committee and Staff activities June 2017

8-9 June 2017: Rüdiger Voss, EPS president, chaired the meeting of the EPS Executive Committee in Mulhouse, France.

15 June 2017: Mairi Sakellariadou, chair of the EPS Gravitational Physics Division organised a meeting to discuss activities of the new division.

23-30 June 2017 Patricia Helfenstein, Pascaline Padovani, Ophélia Fornari, Soria Amri, Soufiane Fila, Géraldine Bannwarth, Ahmed Ouarab, Sylvie Loskill and Gina Gunaratnam, members of the EPS secretariat, were at the ICM, Munich, Germany to organise the CLEO/Europe-EQEC 2017 conferences.

24 June 2017: Rüdiger Voss represented EPS at the Symposium “Passion for Physics” organised to celebrate the 120th anniversary of the Italian Physical Society (SIF) in Villa Monastero, Varenna, Italy.

25 June 2017: Luc Bergé, member of the EPS Executive Committee, and David Lee, EPS secretary general, attended the Steering Committee Meeting of the International Day of Light at Messe Munich, Germany.

26 June 2017, Luc Bergé chaired (for the last time) the Board meeting of the Quantum Electronics and Optics Division of the EPS held in Munich, Germany. Patricia Helfenstein and David Lee also attended the meeting.

26-30 June 2017: Sylvie Jacquemot, member of the EPS Executive Committee, attended the 44th EPS Plasma Physics divisional conference in Belfast, United Kingdom, and the annual meeting of the IUPAP C16 Plasma Physics committee organised there.

28 June 2017, Luc Bergé chaired (for the last time) the CLEO/Europe Steering Committee meeting held in Munich, Germany. Patricia Helfenstein and David Lee also attended the meeting.

29 June 2017 Patricia Helfenstein and Luc Bergé attended the Laser World of Photonics 2017 Steering Committee meeting, ICM, Munich, Germany.
