Statphys 2016 will take place in Lyon (FR) from 18-22 July 2016. The 26th IUPAP international conference on Statistical Physics [Statphys 26] will cover a wide range of topics including traditional aspects of statistical mechanics, such as applications to hard and soft condensed matter, phase transitions, disordered systems and non-equilibrium physics, as well as emergent and modern applications such as turbulence, signal processing, complex systems and mathematics.

The conference will be held at the Palais des Congrès de Lyon, France, a superb facility, including a main meeting room that can host up to 2,000 participants and a complete set of rooms for sessions, all within walking distance. It is located between the Rhône River and the beautiful Parc de la Tête d’Or.

The city of Lyon is easy to reach from anywhere in the world and offers a very attractive environment for this meeting. A large variety of accommodation is proposed from luxury hotels to ideally situated students rooms.

In addition to the main event, a series of satellite meetings will be staged in the period preceding and following the conference.

Details on the conference can be found at: Statphys 26
