The EPS works to support its members. Find below for the list of the activities of EPS Executive Committee and staff for March 2014:

  • 3-5 March: B. Huchet, EPS Communication coordinator, attends the Inspiring Science Education Consortium meeting in Bayreuth, Germany
  • 4 March: J. Dudley, EPS President, meets with International Astronomical Union [IAU] to prepare common IYL 2015 actions, Paris, France
  • 5-6 March: EPS Executive Committee members, Z. Fülöp and S. Sotiriou, as well as B. Huchet, EPS Communication coordinator, lead the European Science Education Academy workshop in Bayreuth, Germany
  • 6 March: D. Lee, EPS Secretary General, presents the EPS Study on the Importance of physics to the Economies of Europe at the APS March Meeting in Denver, USA
  • 12 March: D. Lee, EPS Secretary General, and Colin Latimer, EPS Treasurer, meet in Mulhouse, France
  • 19 March: J. Dudley, EPS President, attends the Awards Ceremony of the DPG in Berlin, Germany
  • 20 March: D. Lee, EPS Secretary General, meets the EPS members J. Enderby, A. Bradshaw and M. Huber to discuss EPL strategic partnerships in Berlin, Germany
  • 27 March: F. Burr, EPL Staff Editor, and D. Lee, EPS Secretary General, attend the EPL Board of Director Meeting in Paris, France
