Scientix is currently recruiting science and mathematics teachers across Europe to support good practices in science education in 2014. As Ambassadors, they will contribute to the quality of education in their home country.

Numerous valuable resources for teachers are developed every day. Scientix collects teaching materials and research reports from European science education projects financed by the European Union. Scientix was created to facilitate regular dissemination and sharing of know-how and best practices in science education across the European Union.

Scientix is open for teachers, researchers, policy makers, parents and anyone interested in science education. Through various on-line and off-line services Scientix wants to create a lively community for its users.

Now, Scientix is looking for science and mathematics teachers to become part of the Scientix 2 Teacher Panel for 2013 and 2014. The main tasks of the Teacher Panel include promoting Scientix at national level and in national teacher communities, supporting the Scientix National Contact Points or pedagogical quality control.

Ideal candidates have direct experience in STEM teaching, knowledge of English, interest in innovative science teaching, and are computer-literate. Candidates for Scientix Ambassadors should also have previous experience in European collaboration and in disseminating good practices in science education.
