DISCRETE 2012

The Third Symposium on Prospects in the Physics of Discrete Symmetries [DISCRETE2012], which is organized and hosted by Centro de Fisica Teorica de Particulas (CFTP) of the Universidade Tecnica de Lisboa, will be held the 3-7 December 2012.

The Symposium will be organized in plenary sessions with invited talks, and parallel sessions with selected contributions from the submitted abstracts. The topics covered will include:

  • T, C, P, CP symmetries
  • 3rd Symposium on Prospects in the Physics of Discrete Symmetries
  • CPT symmetry, decoherence, Lorentz symmetry breaking
  • Accidental symmetries (B, L conservation)
  • Discrete symmetries and models of flavour mixing
  • Neutrino Physics; Electroweak Symmetry breaking and Physics Beyond the SM
  • Baryogenesis, Leptogenesis
  • Dark Matter searches
  • Experimental prospects at LHC
  • Super Flavour factories, and other new experimental facilities
