The 2012 International Conference on Quantum Fluids and Solids [QFS2012] will be held on 15-21 August this year, at Lancaster University, in the United Kingdom.

Topics being covered at the conference include: quantum fluids, quantum gasses and quantum solids; and related topics in cosmology, high energy physics, hydrodynamics, low dimensional systems, magnetism, strongly correlated systems and superconductivity.

In addition, the event will include poster sessions, an exhibition and an excursion; and the conference papers will be published in a special edition of the Journal of Low Temperature Physics.

The event is being organised by Lancaster University’s Department of Physics, under the auspices of the European Microkelvin Collaboration, the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics and the Low Temperature Physics Section of the European Physical Society’s Condensed Matter Division.

The deadline for abstract submission is 30 June. For more information, and for registration, please visit the conference website.
