Nominations open for 2013 Boltzmann Award

Nominations are open for the Boltzmann Award, of the Commission on Statistical Physics [C3] of the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics [IUPAP]. The prize is given in commemoration of outstanding achievements in statistical physics.

The award, which consists of a gilded medal, will be presented at Statphys25, which is being held in Seoul, Korea, on 22-26 July next year.

Nominations should be sent to the C3 Commission chair, Stefano Ruffo stefano [dot] ruffo [at] unifi [dot] it. Nominations – which may be made for individuals or jointly for two scientists, preferably for related work – should be accompanied by a description of the nominees work, of no more than two pages in length, with a listing of no more than six of their key publications included.
