The 2012 International Conference on Ultrafast Phenomena [UP2012] is being held at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland, on the 8-13 July 2012.

The 2012 Ultrafast Phenomena Conference – the eighteenth in a series of conferences – serves as an international forum for discussion amongst scientists and engineers working in the field of ultrafast phenomena.

UP2012, a europhysics conference, is being organised by the European Physical Society’s conference department, in co-operation with the European Physical Society, the Laboratory of Ultrafast Spectroscopy, the Université de Lausanne and the Optical Society of America. The conference is being sponsored by the Contact Group for Research Matters, Elsevier, the National Centre for Competence in Research: Molecular Ultrafast Science and Technology, and the Paul Scherrer Institut.
