2012 EUROPHOTON Conference

“Solid State, Fibre, and Waveguide Coherent Light Sources” is the title of the 5th EUROPHOTON Conference of the European Physical Society’s Quantum Electronics and Optics Division, which is being held in at the AlbaNova University Centre, Stockholm, Sweden, on 26-31 August 2012.

The conference will provide a forum for the discussion of the latest breakthroughs in the fields of fibre, solid-state, and wave-guided light sources. In addition, the event will play host to vendor displays, informal breakout sessions, summer school sessions for PhD and postdoctoral students and half-day special symposium, entitled “From Femto-Science to Atto-Science: Sources and Applications”.

A conference dinner will be held on the evening of 29 August. This event will be free of charge for conference attendees; additional places at the conference dinner can be purchased from the conference website.

EUROPHOTON, a europhysics conference, is being organised by the European Physical Society’s conference department. The conference is being sponsored by the European Physical Society, the KTH Royal Institute Of Technology and the Linné Excellence Centre in Advanced Optics and Photonics.
